Southern Explorer 5 days/4 nights
1st day: Marrakech-Aït Benhaddou-Ouarzazate(220 Km)
Departure from Marrakech in the morning by Tizi N’Tichka pass and his Berber villages. Visit of the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou dating from the 11th century and classified by the UNESCO as World Heritage Site. After a comfortable walk along the wadi we continue towards Ouarzazate for a visit of the movie studios (optional) and the Kasbah of Taourirt. Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
2nd day: Ouarzazate - Gorges du Dadès - Gorges du Todra (230 Km)
Off to the Valley of Roses and thousand Kasbahs, Kelâa M Gouna, the capital of roses and finally to the Dades Gorge and its famous rock formation "Monkey's fingers". Walk through the gorge and return to Boumalne Dades Tinghir direction by the presaharan plateaus. Dinner and overnight stay in the gorges of Todghra after strolling through parts of the splendid palm grove.
3th day: Tinghir - Tinjdad - Merzouga (200 Km)
In the morning you visit the Todra gorge with its impressive rock faces, 300 meters in height, and the impressive canyons of red ocher and earth. We continue our tour in direction of the presaharan Oases near Erfoud and Tafilalet, home of the Alawite dynasty. The drive for the day ends where the tarred road ends, at the edge of the Erg Chebbi at Merzouga. On the back of a camel you ride into the heart of the dunes for sunset, dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional Berber Tent in a Bivouac.
